Flashtech first contributed to our label in 2010; we've had the distinct pleasure of witnessing his development into an extraordinary trance and progressive talent. For the first time in years, we proudly present a new EP by the Hungarian talent, featuring two euphoric and visionary cuts. The lead track, "Closer," will resonate with veteran fans of progressive trance. In the build, a gorgeous string of vocal stutters joins an already mellifluous soundscape, featuring a variety of celestially inspired synths. In nostalgic fashion, the powerful bass sequence takes center stage in the breakdown and, moments later, gently gives way to a glorious arrangement. Equally ebullient, "Shattered Dreams" is yet another timeless offering by Flashtech, featuring myriad melodic layers and no shortage of soulful, inspired vibes. A powerful groove explodes out of the gate, surrounded by transcendent pads and ethereal vocal stabs. At the quarter turn, we are met by a stunning chord progression and several accompanying side melodies, including arpeggio lines and a soothing piano score. After a short mini-break, the main themes reunite to rapturous effect.
