Beth McDonald is a mother to two young children who happens to sing with a jazz band. This CD was born out of Beth\'s desire to play something for her children that did not feature cartoon voices or children\'s choirs, as well as her deep love for and connection to the music of the second quarter of the 20th century. This project pulled together well-respected musicians and an award-winning engineer, featuring some unique instrumentation, many classic standards (sung this time from the perspective of parent to child), and a few of Beth’s original tunes. The result: a timeless collection designed to inspire parents and grandparents to dance with their children, and all others to relax...and remember.
