Spanning several genres, such as pop and soft-rock, JRos primarily sings “popera,” a genre that includes a more classical sound, but not so much that it is operatic. JRos started writing music when he was in middle school. Very quickly, music became a part of his life as he composed over 50 songs before graduating high school. JRos began recording in 2009, compiling a demo of 17 songs. In late 2010 he began working on a Christmas project, selecting traditional Christmas songs to include. In 2011, he wrote a Christmas ballad, called "Christmas Without You," and in 2012, he wrote the orchestral duet, "I Will Share My Christmas With You." By the end of October 2012, the Christmas project was completed with a release date of November 13, 2012. “I Will Share My Christmas With You” is the heart-warming holiday debut album by singer/songwriter, JRos. This timeless collection of songs includes traditional carols like “O Holy Night” and “What Child is This?” as well as never-before-heard originals written by JRos.
