He's had success with more than a few already, scoring hits with Ace ("How Long"), Squeeze ("Tempted"), Mike & the Mechanics ("Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground")), and as a duet partner with Carlene Carter ("Do Me Lover"). The Paul Carrack Collection combines those tracks (plus some others) with the cream of Carrack's solo work, including the hit "I Need You." Carrack is perhaps the most-heard, least-known vocalist in rock, though this set goes a long way toward righting that wrong.
