Eyes Closed is a collection of chill-out / ambient / downtempo works composed between 2004-2006 by Australian electronica artist Stray Theories. There is a strong focus on minimal electronica, keeping the sounds non-intrusive, fusing deep melodic electronica to create musical stories that take you on a journey. Brian Eno described ambient music as music that "can actively be listened to with attention or as easily ignored, depending on the choice of the listener and that exists on the cusp between melody and texture, creating an atmosphere that puts the listener into a different state of mind" This description is very much the focus of Stray Theories, providing emotive, deep atmospheric soundscapes..layered with strong melodies, that give a space for the listener to go on there own journey.
