Main Sequence
After his initial outing on ++ with his remix of Denis Yashin's "No Words", Alejandro Romero is back with his own EP. Being the nice guy he his, he brought along two friends to join in the fun, Raul Garcia and Martin Zambrano. Opening up this EP we spacious and hypnotic "Main Sequence". The Lads really know how to create a unique space with their tracks. Focusing on light and airy synths and pairing them with minimalistic yet funky grooves with a dashing of odd yet catchy riffs, "Main Sequence" is truly a track that will be tugging at your heart while keeping your feet moving. What better way to signal the start of an amazing evening just brimming opportunity and possibilities. The Trio follow it up with the stripped down, funky slow burner "Stars". Creating space with their infectious drums and a baseline that just drags along, "Stars" is definitely the change of pace we all need to rejuvenate the party. Less is more is the motto for this track. Just clever writing with attention to detail and that few others achieve. While the lads like to funk it out with their laid back grooves, Marco Tegui just comes in hot and heavy with his remix of "Main Sequence". Featuring a chunky bassline and groove that doesn't let go, this one is for those late night dancefloors who don't want to quit. Taking the spacious vocals and dubbing them out over his raw chunky grooves and some 80's-esque synths to bring it all together, the juxtaposition is a lovely marriage to keep you moving while giving you enough ear candy to keep you on edge and wanting more.
