Emphasizing long tones, contrasting sound with silence and heading a quartet comprised of Charlie Mariano on soprano and flute, keyboardist Rainer Bruninghaus and drummer John Marshall, Weber performs three stretched-out originals including the 17½-minute "Seriously Deep." This music moves slowly and requires a lot of patience by the listener.
