Taking inspiration from the songwriting styles of Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie), Scott Hutchinson (Frightened Rabbit), and William McCarthy (Augustines), Seattle singer-songwriter Joshua Baez creates music that is honest and eloquent. Though dark at times, Baez's themes suggest a more uplifting, inspiring lesson, and that is made clear through his use of lyrics and music, and the dance the two perform throughout his songs.
