Wind Shadows (1994) for two pure wave oscillators and trombonist, in which exacting tuning modulations (three cycles above and three cycles below given pitches) produce spinning wave illusions. In Music for Piano with One or More Snare Drums (1990) overlapping patterns of piano tones cause snare drums to resonate defining a geography of the performance space. In Music for Piano with Amplified Sonorous Vessels (1990) the interior resonances of small vessels, such as wine glasses, sea shells, clay pots, bamboo cups etc., placed near the piano are amplified over loudspeakers, their sound in turn creating interference patterns. Panorama (1993) employed a photograph of the Swiss and Austrian Alps as a score for a trombonist who would "draw" the mountains by sliding tones, punctuated at peaks by a pianist's single tones and intervals.
