He has done a numerous outstanding remixes for us this past year, one after another; where each one managed to deliver what we craved for. His name is Andy Groove and today he presents to us his first single release on our label titled Starkness. The track is characterized by a driving, uplifting intro; while the breakdown holds a beautifully soft piano melody that paints scenic landscapes in our mind. The story continues with plucked synths that start going up until they explode in one big dropdown that puts a big smile on our faces. Remix of Starkness was handed to the Egyptian trance duo Mostfa & Mostfa. Their take starts with a more edgy approach which features a fierce kick drum, acid hooks and driving synth lines. The breakdown in this alternative version opens up in an even more beautiful manner with amazingly soft pads and that memorable piano tune from the original. It doesn't take long before the mighty synths appear and lift up the game on another level, soon they subside, giving it more dynamics, until they reach the full strength again for that uplifting dropdown.
