Bobby Taylor is a 4th-generation West Virginia fiddler with more than forty years performing experience. He grew up in the Kanawha Valley, and learned many of his tunes from fiddlers Clark Kessinger and Mike Humphreys, who were long-time friends. Kim Johnson learned to play old-time banjo from Clay County fiddler Wilson Douglas, and also played with Calhoun County fiddler Lester McCumbers for many years. Jesse Pearson is hard-driving guitarist, but is most known for his fiddling skills. David O'Dell is a multi-instrumentalist, well-known for his banjo playing, and has won first place in numerous contests around the area. He's holding down the bass line on this project. Kanawha Tradition is a hard-driving, West Virginia style old-time band. Check them out & hear the fun!
