Fred Clark was greatly influenced by The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Sr, The Byrds, and the Ramones when he was young. A founding member of one of the first hardcore punk rock bands in the St. Louis area, he was also part of the alt country movement coming out of that area. A voting member of NARAS, he has appeared on the first round of the Grammy ballot several times. He has released 2 alt country/folk rock albums under his own name as well as 2 childrens's albums and several singles. He has also released singles under side projects Fred and Lauren, The Rockouts, and Neutron Wednesday. He also appeared as a guest vocalist on a Mr. Billy single. Fred's music has been played in at least 17 countries on FM radio. He has performed live on television and radio. Fred is a former internet radio show host and youth soccer coach. For fun, Fred has worked as a background actor on 25 films and television shows in Hollywood, Chicago, St. Louis, and New Orleans. Fred currently lives in Houma, Louisiana with his wife Lauren, and their five children.
