But for some reason, the rich lore of climbing has been left mostly to written words on a page. That is … until now. “Cliff Notes,” a new musical adventure from climbing lifer and Muscle Shoals recording artist Christopher Parker, captures the feelings and stories of airing it out in the mountains. The EP’s four songs take you into the world of climbing, from Yosemite Valley to the Rocky Mountains, and document the tales and that have been told around the fires of Camp 4 for decades, while exploring the undeniable bond that exists between those who rope up together.
