Jonre Quest, formally known as Jonathan Wigfall, says in his standout track "Cartoon's Revenge," "You are now entering my mind and my thoughts of the last two years." Residing in Camden, New Jersey, a notorious city known for its high crime rates located in southern New Jersey, Wigfall takes on an alter-ego known as J. Quest (The Cartoon). Similar to Eminen's Slim Shady or Tyler, the Creator's Wolf Haley, Quest acts as a musician who expresses the traumatic incidents and vengeful thoughts that have been built up in his mind for the past two years. J. Quest's mixtape is titled Revenge of the Cartoon. Wigfall suffered from an intense relationship with a female which resulted in betrayal and violent interactions among his peers. Furthermore, Wigfall suffered from personal and family related incidents. Being mentally and physically affected, Wigfall longed for a gateway of expression. Taking on the name of J. Quest, Wigfall began creating music in 2009. Describing his adventurous past, Wigfall entered his musical quest with his release of "The Real Adventures." Embracing himself as J. Quest, he was able to properly express his mind-set and thoughts during his treacherous time period without any direct ramifications. With a mixtape under his belt, Quest released another mixtape in 2010 entitled Empty Hallways-Open Lockers. Gaining more local recognition, J. Quest joined a brotherhood of fellow hip-hop artists known as The Fraternity. With an underwhelming result from their mixtape Welcome to the Fraternity the group fell apart. Although this occurred, J. Quest stood strong and resiliant, exposing his qualities gained from the past year. What has driven J. Quest's musical ambition is his desire for revenge on his peers who physically and mentally scarred him. Revenge of the Cartoon acts as a cathartic gateway for J. Quest.
