PTR is proud to bring you the latest from Robert Oleysyck. Psyclops is a tastefully twisted progressive house track. Acid house reminiscent stabs, a tough bassline and warped spoken word sample; this track does nothing but grab your attention. First remix comes from none other than the infamous Jaap Ligthart. Who actually gives us 2 renditions of his remix. Remix 1 is geared more towards the first part of a set. Jaap keeps true to the original but adds a ton of bounce, drops in a very heavy club-influenced kick and a slightly Asian melody. Remix 2 gets a bit more in your face. Kicking the track up into the peak-times of a set. Jaap adds some electro-house influenced bass and melodic parts as well as some nicely planned out pads. Final remix on the release is from the wonder kid, Kris Brown. Kris keeps toughen up the idea while adding a darker over all feel to the track. Really laying it on with the percussive elements and retro-ish synth lines.
