'Mirrors In The Sky' Music by Boxley and Jazz-E Vocals written and performed by Mica The original started life as a project between Richard Boxley (Guitarist) and DJ Jazz-E (Keyboard/Programmer/Producer). Mica (pronounced Me Sha) sister to Jazz-E was invited to write and perform original vocals. The original mix intro begins with guitar lines with rain providing with background atmosphere. Though the intro sets the scene it is DJ friendly. Mica's vocals are quickly introduced to the listener. The main beat is typical drum & bass pattern with a warm sub bass. Jazz-E produced a track that complimented the guitar and vocal lines. There is a liquid vibe about this track but it could easily fit a variety of sets. The twisted mix has a little more edge to its presentation. It is very much aimed at the jump up and jungle listeners. The production was edited by Twisted SoundBoy (ReActiv Audio) and gives a slight contrast to the original. There is of course similar elements between the tracks but definitely a different feel was achieved.
