Sydney based indie outfit Gaspar Sanz launch their debut self-titled EP. Track one - “Watch You Go”, is a high energy, punchy ball of electricity and released as the second single from the EP after the dropping their first single “On My Way” to a solid reception in earlier 2017, receiving spins on Triple J and being added to high rotation on Triple J Unearthed Radio. Setting the tone for the rest of the four-track EP, track two titled “Alone” opens with ringing crystalline guitar chords before the driving bass and drums punch in to keep the familiar high energy of the record revving along. With a minimal pre-chorus of claps and guitar and chanting outro, Alone guarantees a party at the live show. Track three “Mr Cool” kicks off with a groove dripping in swagger. The tune sees lead singer James Bell stretch his vocals with a soaring chorus that’s uplifted by drum fills that fire off like a machine gun.
