Somali-American Supermodel, Halima, teams up with Diamond/Grammy-winning Toby Gad and Grammy-winning Pentatonix-founder Scott Hoying for the infectious afrobeat dance-anthem “Wimbo Wetu” to raise funds and awareness for refugees. Born in Kakuma, a Kenyan Refugee camp, Halima tells an authentic, inspiring story in “Wimbo Wetu.” Halima’s debut as a singer, with the help of the powerful vocals of Pentatonix-founder Scott Hoying and production and writing by “All Of Me”-songwriting-legend Toby Gad, this anthem releases on World Refugee Day, June 20th. All proceeds from the recording will be supporting displaced people in need.
