For more than three decades, Cari Lekebusch has been one of the most respected and influential figures in electronic music. Emerging from the fertile Swedish techno scene of the late 1980s and 1990s, he has consistently pushed boundaries as a sound architect, DJ and producer. Known for his imaginative DJ sets and distinctive studio craft, Lekebusch has played a key role in shaping techno alongside fellow innovators such as Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Jesper Dahlbäck and Aril Brikha. Throughout his career he has produced under a long list of monikers and collaborations, including Braincell, Mr Barth, Pump Panel, ADCL with Alexi Delano, and Crushed Insect with Adam Beyer. His label H-Productions, founded in 1986, has provided an outlet for his personal experiments as well as a platform for groundbreaking artists from around the world. On this remix of Broken, Cari transforms the original into a floor-focused hypnotic groove combining raw energy with his signature futuristic touch.
