This song is really my own heartfelt story. From leaving home for the first time at 18 to study in Beijing, to later chasing my dreams in Kuala Lumpur, I’ve traveled far and stood on many stages—but no matter how far I went, I never missed a single family reunion. I wrote this song to put all my longing for home and gratitude for my family into music. No matter how far we go, the thing that always gives us peace is the light that’s been waiting for us all along—the light of home.
