Super Producer
"Super Producer" is the fifth single taken from Maika Loubté's forthcoming album House of Holy Banana, set for release on April 1, 2026. Ever since a demo version was unveiled during a livestream held amid the 2020 pandemic, the track has quietly circulated among listeners, steadily gaining a reputation for its addictive pull. Driven by a hard dance sound rooted in UK donk, with rapid-fire French rap riding over the top, Super Producer operates at a BPM that defies easy classification--neither fast nor slow--drawing the listener into a strange and compelling groove all its own. While the previous single "Kingyo-bachi" explored the introspective sanctuary of family love, "Super Producer" takes a dry, incisive look at the deeper layers of the music scene itself. Repeated entirely in French, the song delivers a mysterious message: "Super producers, I'm listening to your hit songs--in order to make new music exist." By dismantling familiar templates and questioning what "newness" truly means, the track stands out within the album as a stark expression of the artist's sharp, unsentimental perspective. To coincide with the single's release, a music video filmed at Maika Loubté's live show at CIRCUS TOKYO last June has also been unveiled. Following a journey through inner worlds in previous works, "Super Producer" presents a striking collision of inorganic intelligence and hypnotic repetition--an impact that demands to be experienced firsthand.
