DJ Mitsu the Beats, the world-renowned producer and member of Sendai hip-hop crew GAGLE, is set to release his new single "Butterfly" on Friday, February 27th. The track features singer-songwriter ZIN, a prominent member of the R&B/Soul-focused artist collective Soulflex. The song is a love story centered on the themes of peace and love-an alternative R&B masterpiece woven together by DJ Mitsu the Beats' signature laid-back jazzy beats, melodic piano, and the soft embrace of a flute. "Butterfly" is a sublime ballad born from a prayer: amidst the "quiet daily life" we often take for granted, it acknowledges a reality filled with constant conflict and anxiety. Like the gentle flutter of a butterfly's wings, the song carries the wish for a world where everyone can find peace and happiness as soon as possible.
