Gabry Fasano and Riccardo Ferri dig deep into their toolbox and whip out two quirky slices of Tech House goodness in this EP for Alchemy. The title track's bouncy bass sets the tone, while a percussive riff gives everything a slightly melodic edge. As the programming morphs into almost tribal territory, the impeccable programming makes sure that suspense is at every corner. On "Hydrotech" we are treated to some sub bass business, when at the same time, subtle hi-pitched workings do their thing in the background. Synthetic squelches appear as if out of nowhere, and clever edits keep the momentum high.
