Johnny Kidd & The Pirates are today perhaps best rembered for their hit "Shakin' All Over", but they were one of England's top Rock 'N' Roll bands before the Beatles took off. In fact, the Beatles used to open for the Pirates in the early days, with the Pirates being the main attraction. Their songs have had a big influence on many British bands from the era, most notably The Who. Featured on this EP are their first four tracks, including the hits "Please Don't Touch" and "Growl". The songs are absolute classics and a clear indication of what was to come.
