The original mix of "Why Not ?!" is a seven minute epic of excess that melts the violently happy extremes of 90s rave to bleeding-edge sounddesign. Alter Ego brought the humour back to techno. With hysterical stretched and snapped back sirens over flashes of handclaps in oceans of reverberation the track elevated clubbers from Ibiza to Tokyo. The Tim Deluxe remix kicks off with his trademark blast of swaggering 4/4 that feasts abscenely off a fleshy and succulent bottom end. Joakim's remix features massive ride-cymbals that drive every club in peaktime heaven. Behind the maniacal face of this remix-package is allways some serious attention to detail wich leaded this tracks to timeless club-classics. "Why Not ?!" is a paintbomb filled with high contrast toxic bombast flung from the edges of madness into the obstinately "black-box" mentality of minimalism style-dictators.
