Twist Goes Latin is at least the quintessential Latin-twist album and an asset to any twist collection. The two-minute tunes breeze by, and the titles are well-chosen. "Patricia" and "Cherry Pink" get their updates, as do "St. Louis Blues" and "Quien Sera." "Hava Nagila" is another standout. But the ultimate is the organ duel in "Cherry Pink"; in the stereo version the organ solos in each channel. Okay, it's a little silly. But it rocks. Subsequent Prado albums also feature the twist gone Latin; here it happens for all twelve tracks.
