Rather by accident, we've created a new little release concept, the Connaisseur Swap Series, where Connaisseur artists remix each other. Simple as that. The first exchange sparked the idea: Battera vs. Of Norway. The multicultural Portuguese-Japanese duo consisting of Jepe and Takumi Motokawa remixed our Norse sweethearts and vice versa. Battera picked Of Norway’s 2019 Italo-disco extravaganza "Dance To The Beat“, transforming it into a contemporary indie-dance banger. Of Norway opted for Battera's only just released "Atlas“, and grabbed their guitar and bass, reconstructing it into a timeless and super hypnotic krautrock-ish Scandinavian builder. We are in love!
