We keep it rollin’ with another significant release by new label member ALEJANDRO FERNANDEZ from Spain including a strong remix by Raized from our Colombian groove embassy in Medellin. Both are experienced warriors behind the decks and relentless in producing quality stuff. Not surprising that Alejandro got into the circle of the infamous Vatos Locos label which is one of the leading labels in the underground vinyl scene. Moreover he pushed a stamp on labels like Sanity, Oblack or Monday Morning Records. Two original tracks follow the signature sound of as ‚as usual.music’ for release No. 026! „Bank“ is the sweet stomper, that attracted us and will wrap the floors in fascination. Stripped-down shaky rhythmics swing on the boosted low-end, which is filled with a proper unit of punch and an irresistibly rasping bass sound. Dirt conditions accomplished! Sugar gets involved afterwards by a steadily flourishing and evolving sphere, tenderly verbed with a female voice. Controversal elements perfectly smoothed to get ‚banked’ in harmony. Let’s get mad with the ‚System Error’ that releases the inner freak. A slightly wilder ride during the system’s off which ends up in some dancefloor anarchy. That’s what we need. The formula therefor is made by rumbling subs, slick hats and wondering synth notches. Works excellently. RAIZED is back on spot, this time for the remix of ‚System Error’. The label owner of Otgen released meanwhile on Roush Label and Innocent, and returns with a wicked interpretation. With groove in his blood, he treats it like predestined for making people move. Tuning some reduced Techhouse drums and well-placed synth-usages with a great sound, is showing that he feels and lives the club culture deeply. Let’s rave!
