First of, „Hold On *Original Mix“ brings on some short-looped Tribal heat in combination with a highly seductive male main vocal sample before a muscular, 4/4 House groove provides maximum energy levels to totally blacked out, occasionally strobe lit peak time dancefloors with crystalline, reverberating synth tones providing a sparse, yet melodic aspect. With „Hold On *Instrumental“ Jan Driver provides a, well..., instrumental tool for all the DJ's out there, weighing in even more percussive elements, a sharper, more metallic tone and heavier, more aggressive pump accompanied by an ultra deep low end and warped, intense synth motifs with a trancey twist. Finally „Hold On *Ultradub“ strips things down to the bare essentials, gets rid of all additional synth tones and melodic elements only to rely on the raw power of bass drum, percussion and the ever present, slightly filtered vocals to create a high octane version that will essentially be powerplayed on dancefloors over the course of the next months.
