If you haven’t checked out Vanita yet, it is about time. Based in Zürich, she is on a mission to captivate the world, one step at a time, both through her passionate and enchanting DJ sets, and through her own productions. And she is the newest addition to the Heinz Music family with her „Gravity EP“. The 4-tracker is a journey through a magnificently sculptured soundscape, set off by “Bawla”. A spirited introduction to her sound, the track has a soft yet punchy groove immersed in a coy and playful synth. “Gravity” takes the lead with flowing warm melodies and tight percussions, and while keeping the vibe going it introduces a slightly darker feeling in the build up. Moving to the third track of the release, “Oh Namah”, she takes it back a notch again. The tone is dreamier through the vocal elements and layered, shifting synths. Rounding up the EP is “Stone Cold”, a beautiful construct that displays a charming interplay between entrancing melodies, uplifting groove and vocals, building up to a bewitching break. Although varied, the core of the release is fun and dreamy. No doubt this release is going to find its way in to the hearts of dancers everywhere.
