Mexico's Tenampa turns now to Hector Carbonell a.k.a KRBO. Better known throughout Levante clubbing for his successful Small Klub brand and his celebrated residences at Sunset and Kraken Club. Previously releasing music on Nightcolours Recordings, the Spanish born producer delivers an excellent EP that will no doubt be in your sets for a while. Jaws is a serious layered workout, chunky as can be, with a big rough bassline and a haunting vocal that add a dimension of understated quality. Temporal is next, a locked-in groove voyage with plenty of cool FX, and an organ-like synth that glides along nicely, changing the vibe and adding a trippy edge. This EP proves KRBO worth, and his future's looking bright.
