The magnificent Paul Strive makes his debut on Transmit and immediately gets down to business with the stomp of 'Infection', which mutates into a proper drum workout complete with old-school claps, distressed electronics and the toughest of grooves. Truly, a glimpse of a mechanized future to come. 'Better' picks right up and cruises down the hypnotic route with loopy effects providing the momentum and then letting a frantic, percussive riff take center stage. The cheeky dialog during the breakdown provides enough suspense and doubles as a short breather before it all comes crashing down again.
