Eduard Kunneke is considered the last of the great representants of what is called the "Silver Operetta Era". He was quite acitive in recording his works for the phonograph industry but until now there has never been a chance to hear him conducting his music live in concert. With new material currently unearthed this gap can be closed. The 12 tracks on this album present Eduard Kunneke during a concert that took place shortly after World War 2 in Stuttgart.
