Born & Raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Kevin Palencia aka "AbueKev" was always surrounded by music, from the radio blasting Salsa & Merengue at home, to the Electronic Dance Music. Later on his family moved to Miami, FL in the United States. There, he experienced a completely different culture, as well as a distinct musical scene. "AbueKev" which derives from the Spanish word, "Abuelo (grandpa)" & his first name, "Kevin" merged together. He has been supported by Rachie Hawtin and more recognized artists!
