A traditional bluegrass album being released in 2011 wouldn't be complete without a salute to the genre's originator. LJ&CR do this handily with the record's breakout single "A Light In the Window" by the immortal Tom T. and Dixie Hall. Miss Dixie was inspired to write this song after attending the rededication of Bill Monroe's homeplace in Rosine, Ky., where reference was made to Bill's lament at the end of the chorus of his "On My Way Back To The Old Home."
