What began as a post on Facebook of a brief snippet of a song that I started became a true labor of love. DJ Basil after viewing the video came up with the hook, and the lyrics followed. An international labor of love inspired by our friend, mentor and muse... The great DJ Frankie Knuckles. The collaboration process was truly inspirational, it included our sister Taclan Gorgun in Instanbul. Basil across the country 3,000 miles away in California, and myself in New York City. The song is entitled 'Frankie's Heaven' and 25% of the proceeds will go directly to the 'Frankie Knuckles Foundation'.
