In 1 John 1:3 the Apostle John writes, “… that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.” The primarily concern of the Apostles was to bear witness of what they had personally seen and heard with their own eyes and ears. The Lord tells Paul, “for you will be a witness to me to everyone of what you have seen and heard.” Why was this so? So that everyone who would listen to their testimony would have fellowship with the risen Son of God, Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus today, even though we are not Apostles, we have now been passed the baton in bearing witness to what we have seen and heard. When we take up the baton and run the race that has been set before us, everyone in our generation may have the opportunity to have fellowship with the only true God, Jesus Christ. This album is part of Jeremy’s attempt to run the race and bear witness to what he has seen and heard. Jeremy’s prayer for this album is that people would see and hear Jesus, and that God the Holy Spirit would draw everyone who listens to the album into intimate fellowship with Himself.
