Sky was born in Germany as Ronny Roman Bunke (1956). In 1973 he met Memphis Slim at the Montreaux Jazz festival and set his sight on music. He reached the United States in 1983 and set up a recording studio across the Bay from San Francisco. His debut album Dreams was released in 1988. After completing 'Roses in the sky' his fifth CD in 1994, Sky started touring with his own music throughout the United States. Sky now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and continues to create new music.
