WOW! We’ve made it to our forth (senior) album--Glory to God! As my military career was coming to an end I was reflecting on the many years, events and travels I had the benefit of experiencing. More specifically, I was thinking about how through all the assignments (good and tough ones), God had sustained me and preserved me in a very wonderful way. We all go through challenging times but when I think about how God brought me through those challenges—with honors, sometimes I was just overjoyed and moved to tears. Then I started thinking before the military years and how that HE was the only reason I for my salvation here on earth and in HIS kingdom. It just didn’t have to be this way. I’m so grateful. I have so much to say; in fact some of the songs didn’t make it to this album (maybe they will be released in the future). The 14 songs that DID make it reflect on how that as a youngster I heard the gospel call. “When HE Said Follow Me” I didn’t know what the years would bring nor what HIS purpose was for my life. Yes, I made some mistakes thru those years but "HE Rescued Me”, see, even though I was around the church nearly all my life, I wasn’t really focused on pleasing God in my life and on more than a few occasions I found my self going “In & Out” the spiritual door. Nevertheless, HE’s “So Good To Me” and “HE Keeps On Blessing Me”, “Still”. And when I finally tried to get it right I was able to notice “What A Difference HE made in my life” and now when I think of God’s grace and mercy towards me “I Can’t Help Myself” when it comes to praising HIM. I can’t just sit there with a half-hearted effort when it comes to praising HIM. It just gets all in my bones. I am unashamed of telling others what “A Friend In Jesus I’ve Found”. I see the Lord as a true friend that is closer than a brother “Jesus Is My Friend” and “I Love The Way HE Loves Me”. I’m learning more and more how to put things in HIS hands and “Let It Go”. I’ve found that in the most difficult times HE’s “All I Need”. I’ve learned that “Somebody Bigger Than Me” is waiting to take care of my problems with contrary people if I can stay out of the way. There’s so much you’ll hear from these messages in song. This is my testimony, however, I pray you will see yours through the content of my vocal opus!
