"The Classics" is an LA based duo comprised of Danny 'Direc' Maldonado and Timothy 'TLAMAR' Jackson. After meeting in 2010, while both working at Pacsun, Direc brought his lyrical and eclectic rap style to TLAMAR. TLAMAR, who has been producing beats since the age of 10, had just recently graduated from the Art Institute (2011) and was anxious to start making music that the two would ultimately describe as their own unique sound. Direc, who first entered the world of music at a young age playing various instruments from piano to the congas, realized early on that rap and lyrical delivery were his favorite musical spheres. Direc and TLAMAR are anxious to bring their fresh and unique style of hip-hop to the forefront of the industry. They're young, talented, and driven to carve out their own niche in the world of hip-hop and with a duo this "classic" it will be hard to stop them.
