With influences drawing from Neutral Milk Hotel to Deathcab for Cutie, Modest Mouse to Tom Waits, the Beatles to Ween, and everywhere in between, the four kids known collectively as Baxter are breaking ground in all sorts of styles and taking Athens by storm. Their first release is a self-produced, bedroom-created work that displays their wide range of sound - from the heavy, guitar raging opener of Marble Garden to the lush, floating soundscape of Heaven. Released the beginning of the year, this EP only scratches the surface of talent and style that Baxter brings to the table.
