Daniel has been playing piano since he was 5 years old. Over the years he also learned to play guitar, bass and trombone. He sings with heartfelt emotion emphasized in every song and has no limits when it comes to music, playing and creating in a variety of different genres including country, acoustic rock, heavy metal, electronic music, classical and jazz. Having just completed his Masters in Music Education, he wants to share his love of music with children of all ages. Gordon wrote this song about 6 months before his Grandma passed away. His Grandma played a big part in his life and they shared a special bond of friendship. He told her about the song and hoped that she would be able to hear the finished recording someday, but that never happened. I could relate to the lyrics as my own Grandma had lived in an institution and had alzheimer’s disease before she passed away. They were both great ladies deserving to be remembered in song. I think anyone who has ever lost someone they loved and has had to go through a lifetime worth of belongings will be able to relate to this song.
