To put it simply, David Paul is a multi-faceted artist. As one of the creative forces behind the band, Lovejar, he crafted songs spanning multiple genres with a wide variety of instruments and influences. As a vocalist he brings to mind familiar voices like Otis Redding, or at times, Paul McCartney or John Lennon. While his musical categorization may be difficult to adequately pin down, it's clear that he has a love for organic music with feeling and soul. Because of that he gravitates toward sounds of a different era, before sampling and digital editing, providing his music with an inherent nostalgia.
