Camron and Jon showed up at Alon's house one Sunday in 2008 and these three guys quickly realized that the only two people who would be in a band with them were standing in that living room. Since then, Safeword has played gigs all over Austin and continues to gain a strong following based on Camron's often self-deprecating, witty lyrics as well as the band's instantly catchy low-fi-pop-surf-punk style. With their upcoming EP "Hot:Crazy" Safeword is poised to enjoy whole new levels of success... like... THREE drink tickets per band member.. It's good to have goals.
