We the People
Martin Kember is a singer, performer, songwriter and producer of R&B, Pop and Soulful music. A blue-eyed soul singer who sites Prince as his dominant inspiration. Martin is a veteran of the industry, who enjoyed early top 40 success in his band of high school mates, "Az-1", which included Andre "LA Dre" Bolton of the "NWA" fame, and where Icon "Eazy-E" made guest appearances. Martin later toured as the lead singer of 90's pop, R&B icons "Color Me Badd". As a songwriter and producer, Martin has written tracks for R&B greats such as Kenny Lattimore, Guy Sebastian and Peabo Bryson, and produced/remix tracks for hip hop legend "2Pac" As a solo artist, his Warner Bro's release "One Shade Of Love" was a lushly produced album of melodically heavy love songs. The follow up album "Cycles" was a CD BABY exclusive, lead by the worldwide viral hit "Driving Myself Insane". Cycles continued the melodic R&B story telling love songs as well as romantic bedroom appropriate soundtracks. The forthcoming album "Consummate" was slated to be a "feel good" R&B throwback, however, the recent loss of Martin's idol, the iconic "Prince" as well as the recent presidential election has lead Martin to write several new tracks in tribute to the idol, as well as a new politically charged single "We The People", which inspires unity, peace, love and endurance of Americans through the next presidential election in 2020. The reworked new version album is now slated for relase in early 2017. For More on Martin Kember, please visit MartinKember.com, and facebook/martinkembermusic
