THE JOURNEY is a collection of compositions that I have written over the past few years. You’ll find that each tune has a different stylistic vibe to it. Each was written during important parts of my life when I experienced joy, excitement, hardship, sadness, etc. These important times from my life have helped me understand the meaning of love more and more. I'd like to thank my mother, Myrna White-Davis, who has always been there for me through thick and thin, all of my family members and friends, Joseph Zaluski and the entire Gulf Stream School family who have supported me and encouraged me throughout the recording process, and Dr. Artie Almeida. Without her, I may not have found “my niche” in the world of music. Thanks to Chad Hughes for being an amazing mentor and assistant producer, and Ozie Cargile II for co-writing some of the tunes on this album, and helping me make some beautiful arrangements. I thank all the musicians who performed on this album, the engineers, photographer, album designer, and Steve Rawls for doing the mastering for the album.
