Rosy Maguina was born in Chimbote, Peru. She came to the USA with her family in 1989. When she was 7 years old, her mother gave her a guitar and she taught herself how to play. Soon, she was writing songs. From then on, music became an important part of her life. She grew up listening to songs that told a story in a very simple way. Songs with a meaning and a message. Rosy's songs are honest and passionate. Every word... every melody comes from her heart. For this release, she teamed up with Aaron Walz of Walz Music & Sound for arrangement, recording and production, as well as backing vocals. Aaron, an accomplished composer, producer, and tenor, has created meaningful music for artists, films and games, performed with elite choruses and contributed his voice for multiple recordings. When he first heard Rosy sing Life Goes On, it gave him goose bumps. Rosy believes and hopes that listeners will hear, process and live the message and meaning of this song.
