Fred Clark is a singer/songwriter/performer/recording artist who has received FM radio airplay in at least 17 countries. Early in his career, he often shared the stage with Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), and Jay Farrar (Son Volt). For fun, he occasionally appears as an extra in film. Fred has appeared on first ballot of the Grammy Awards six times through 3 different releases. His latest release, "Perfect" is a tribute to his wife, Lauren. Happy Fun was produced and mastered by Trenell Parfait (credits include Rascal Flatts) in Houma, LA. Happy Fun was on the consideration ballot for the 53rd Grammy Awards. SIDE PROJECTS--- 1) with his wife Lauren, under the moniker Fred and Lauren, has resulted in the release of 9 singles, 4 of which are tributes to the New Orleans Saints football team. Their latest releases are "Saints Rock" and a cover of The Cure classic, "Just Like Heaven". 2) Neutron Wednesday, an electronic based project, released a cover of Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" in the summer of 2012, and Kraftwerk's "Radioactivity" in the summer of 2011. 3) The Rockouts---surf rock, releases include the instrumental originals "Race Cars", (on ballot for 56th Grammy Awards),"The Spy", and "Kick".
