Barn is a band based out of Kemptville, Ontario, Canada, a small town outside of Ottawa. Barn write and produce their own music with influences like the Beatles, jam bands, indie artists and singer songwriters. The band members themselves have tastes all over the musical map and that reflects in their recordings and live performances. Barn strives to write in a familiar way but with 'outside the box' hooks, lyrics and structure. The band has two principle songwriters and therefore two lead singers, each usually taking the lead on their own songs. The band has a bit of retro sound partly because of their love of vintage instruments and also of their knowledge of so many different musical eras and genres.
