The Phantasmal Farm is one of my favorite vacationing spots. Metaphysical by nature, the Farm cannot actually be visited, though the services the Farm provides leave the human body favorably mutated. That's what happened to me in the Fall of '89. My journey to the Farm began as I questioned, "should I purchase Sega CD or 3DO?" Recognizing this as one of life's truly great questions, the Farm lurched into three dimensional space after me. My body was rendered lifeless, a gelatinous blob on my parent's alpaca wool carpet. My true self was whisked away to Silo #2 of The Phantasmal Farm. I don't remember much of what happened that first night at the Farm. It was mostly a blur of neon wheat and seductive llamas, but when the Farm returned me to my human form, I felt as if I had learned a new language. A musical language. Instinctively, I began to write it all down in what is now embodied in this album. After returning on a bi-weekly basis for the past decade, I have been exposed to the Farm's deepest emotions. It all leads up to this. The Farm is dissolving into the 8th dimension, The Null. You see, the Farm's existence is a construct of mind, and if people don't believe in it, it will cease to exist. For now, only a few individuals know of the farm and in order to perpetuate its evolution, The Farm must be more widely known. First, downloading this album affirms your belief in The Phantasmal Farm, loosening the vacuum grip of the eighth dimension. Second, universal distribution, also known as giving this album's link to all your esteemed life colleagues, serves as recognition that the farm exists.
